A calendar from May 1920 to May 1921 helps put some of the events recorded in the Post journal into clearer perspective.
Other than Christmas in 1920, dinner and billiards with Rev. Fleming, a birth, a birthday party, and a death no other social events, religious holidays, civic holidays, or other historical events are noted. Typically the HBC Post was open for regular business six days a week, with Sunday off. Whatever time off activities or hobbies the HBC men enjoyed, they were not recorded.
